Life Ceremony

We never do know how long our time on this earthly plain will be and it is with sorrow that we say good-bye to the ones we love. However, it is with joy that we remember their life and the times we spent with them. A life ceremony is a tribute to their life and an acknowledgement of your part in it, as their family, closest friends, and community.

I understand that this is a difficult time for you. I would like to support you by helping you create the perfect eulogy to honour their life.

When you are planning the ceremony you will need to consider what type of ceremony you would like. Do you plan to have a funeral, a memorial service, a simple but meaningful scattering of ashes, or a personalised ceremony?

With any of these ceremonies you can include life stories, poems, songs and rituals that give purpose to you and to the memory of the one you loved. You may like to speak at the ceremony or ask family, friends, work colleagues, or myself to speak on your behalf.

It is with the utmost respect that I offer you my services. I will spend as much time with you as is necessary to make this the perfect ceremony. A ceremony to honour your precious loved one and your time together.

Six weeks before our engagement party we decided to have a surprise wedding, Megan was recommended to us by a family member and she was right on board with a positive attitude from the start! Megan made time out of her day to come see us to organise what we wanted and also did a small rehearsal with us leading up to the wedding. What can we say about Megan. The patience of a saint to start with. My wife wanted our special day to happen in our own creative and unique way. Megan met our non traditional approach with a sense of curiosity and adventure, and what an adventure we went on together! From same sex marriage, an ex husband and son walking my wife down the isle, a maori haka, a cake made of cheese and vows that contained a cat Megan took it all in her stride with sensitivity and a solid knowledge of the legal requirements. Megan's acceptance and kindness shines through her smile and eyes, she has the knowledge and skills required to guide you through this very personal process.
